Printing help

Our patterns are A4 PDF files, made to print on a home printer. Getting the scale right is the one thing that matters.

Print at 100%

1. Open the PDF in a PDF reader, for example the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
2. Choose A4 paper.
3. Set the scale to 100% or “Actual size”. Don’t use “Fit”, “Shrink” or “Scale to fit”.
4. Print the page with the test scale first and measure it with a ruler.
5. If it measures correctly, print the rest of the pattern.

Putting the pages together

Trim and tape the pages together to assemble the pattern pieces, then cut them out.

No A4 printer?

The files are A4 only. If your printer only takes US Letter, use a print or copy shop that can print A4 at 100%, or email us and we’ll help.
